Life is Short

Life is short.

Enjoy it!

Here are some great ways of dealing with the burdens of life

Accept that some days you're the pigeon, and some days you're the statue.

Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them.

Always read stuff that will make you look good if you were to pass on in the middle of it.

Drive carefully. It's not only cars that can be recalled by their maker.

If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it

It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Never buy a car you can't push.

Never put both feet in your mouth at the same time, because! Then you won't have a leg to stand on.

Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance.

Since it's the early worm that gets eaten by the bird, sleep late.

The second mouse gets the cheese.

When everything's coming your way, you're in the wrong lane.

Birthdays are good for you. The more you have, the longer you live.

You may be only one person in the world, but you may also be the world to one person.

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

We could learn a lot from crayons...

Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.

A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

Have an awesome day and know that someone has thought about you today....

Titan America ; The Titan Entertainment Group Inc.

The Titan is a multi-purpose entertainment, hospitality, and multi-show type facility with Hotel and specialty retail destinations. As such Titan is a "first-of-its-kind" in Canada. Comparable facilities are found principally in Las Vegas, NV where large hotels have major entertainment facilities. California has new entertainment facilities built by Disney, including a stand alone venue called the “world-famous Walt Disney Concert Hall”. The Walt Disney hall has 2,273 seats, and offers a rehearsal hall and a small mixed arts theatre on its campus.

The conclusion of our initial R&D indicates low initial investment requirements, a positive return on investment and a strategic location complementing present strategies. The feasibility of development and pre-planning indicate a strong market, relatively low risk and a short time line to achieve intended results. As the project moves forward, additional resources will be added to meet ongoing requirements.

The Titan project is in response to a growing trend in North America for the development of complexes that offer ‘multi-purpose flexibility’, particularly in concert set-ups that include end and center stage, festival, and ‘intimate show’ seating. Mid-capacity complexes with a less than 10,000 person capacity are among the fastest growing segments of the entertainment industry. Increasingly performers in many entertainment categories and their fans, (not to mention the crew), prefer complexes with facilities and amenities tailored to meet the demands of the performance and backstage operations. Venues which are not too big and not too small will please the audience and the performer while delivering the widest market potential.

Security to Invest

TCS Newswire; The Canadian Stockbroker ©

Where is the security,
to invest in a start-up company, the investor requires?

Staff Writer M. Shane David

If you're thinking that some companies in start up phases might make bad investments because their security is low or non existent, think again.

Start-up companies who seek capital investment funds (usually extremely aggressively) to pay bills or to have their dream get some wings are asked for security. While looking for investors, the company continues its operations and moves towards its goals while it finds finances. With any luck, it will get its act together find visionary investors and become stronger than before continuing to grow. If the company cannot generate enough start-up capital and begins to have problems paying off its creditors or getting to its target market and cash flow it will close or be forced to change.

In secured financing the debtor company in good standing manages its business and is in possession of its own assets. In unsecured financing the debtor company is partially controlled by the creditors, and completely controlled soon after the conditions of the credit are breached. In either case when the company fails to perform or meet its obligations to lenders the results are the same or at least the process does not differ.

The failing debtor company must then file a plan of reorganization with the creditor’s council. If any of the creditors are to receive less than full value for their claims, they will have the right to vote on their acceptance. After the vote, the court can then elect either to accept or reject the plan. So the company has some flexibility, but if it tries to deal too harshly with various creditors, its plan isn't likely to be approved.

In most cases of failure to meet its obligations, the company will have to sell off assets to raise money to pay creditors. The proceeds usually won't be enough to pay all prioritized creditors in full. So the creditors can take a reduced amount of money, and/or some stock in the reorganized company. Creditors don't have to share anything with existing shareholders. Even the insiders' stock stakes are generally always reduced to zero value.

If you notice much attention being paid to creditors and little to shareholders, you're not imagining things. Those who hold shares of common stock in the company are not near the front of the line. They're behind debt holders, merchant creditors, trustees, employees, the Tax Man, and even preferred shareholders.

Some companies in money troubles, start-up money shortages and debt do emerge from it and survive -- but many don't. And with those that do, it's rare for insider shareholders to benefit unless they are part of the fix. Insider shareholders are the least secured and as they're last in line the creditors and preferred shareholders are in control of the company.

Cathedral Stone - Influence Heart - MP3 - Heart The Band - Heart Rock Band - Ann Wilson - Nancy Wilson - Picture: "
Heart The Band / Heart Rock Band - Hearing the music of Heart for the first time in the mid-70's was a major influence on me. The beautiful wilson sisters vocals with the aggresive, cutting, driving guitars with a huge drum beat was too good to be true. This older music holds up today, and is some of rocks all-time best. I also loved Howard Leese's efforts on synthesizers. This is a mid-late 70's picture of the band while on tour. "

www.van-halen.com - The Latest Official Van Halen News: "There's a great irony associated with our choice to present Finish What Ya Started in a way that belies the title. We retrieved the analog master from the WB vault only to learn that it needed to be treated or cooked to restore its ability to be reproduced on the analog machine. The original two-track mix ends exactly as presented on the new Best of Both Worlds. In the first mastering of the record nearly twenty years ago it was faded manually and that is the way it appears on the original OU812. We literally decided to let it Finish in its truly original form, almost like a director's cut. To the legions of Van Halen fans who remember it the other way, we can only hope that the added one second of music and its slightly truncated ending represents a unique version of a song that we all know and love and becomes in its own right a collectors item.
We have spent hundreds of hours in conjunction with Ed and Alex pondering the tone, texture and tenor of these amazing recordings, and we appreciate the responses from the many listeners who cherish this music. It has represented a sacred mission for all of us and we present it to you with love, respect and passion, and if you hear something you might have missed before, please realize it is included to present what we deem to be the more complete archive of this amazing band.
Sincerely,
Glen Ballard"

Company

The Titan Entertainment Group Inc. ©
The Corporation was formed on April 15, 1999
In Calgary Alberta Canada.

Business

The Corporation specializes in the building and operation of medium size venues with ancillary retail operations.

The Market

Management has researched and assessed much data taking into consideration key market and industry trends in formulating its business model and development plans. Once the Calgary Titan is fully operational, and gains recognition as a "premier" venue in North America, the Company will begin the process of development in other major urban centers.

Building a quality operating team is a challenge the management is comfortable with in these times of high ticket prices. Management are world class operators who will have a pivotal role in the company, overseeing construction of the facility and overseeing that operating performance is maximized. While we make no claim of being able to predict the future, we are in the entertainment business and must base today’s decisions upon our outlook for the future. We believe the outlook for ticket sales and the private suites reservations market is strong. Public pressure to be entertained by all major genres of entertainment continues to be bullish for ticket sales while industry fundamentals of supply and demand look extremely favorable. The ticket prices and reservations are sure to be subject to fluctuations. We believe the trend will be upwards during the coming years and for some time into the future. Your management team is committed to increasing value for shareholders during what we believe are unique opportunities for growth in the long-term entertainment bull markets.

We feel that the Titan Entertainment Group Inc. will provide a major opportunity; this type of project is new to Calgary. Calgary has a population of 900,000 plus people, soon to reach 1,000,000 people and is long overdue for a venue of this type. The economy is flourishing, with no sign of slowing down. Our executive staff and international marketing strategy will craft the Titan venue into a world renowned destination complex returning positive cash flow.

It is the strategy of the Titan Entertainment Group Inc. to become the dominant entertainment venue in Calgary and western Canada. We feel with the Titan being so unique to this demographic that the complex would be the venue of choice locally, while satisfying the majority of artists and touring production companies not to mention the traveling tourist and business person. Because the Titan venue has so much more to offer than just a show, it will be one of the most popular destination spots in Calgary.

The Titan because of its design and its mandate will indeed affect the industry in a most positive way with the over all risk at an absolute minimum. It will be able to bring to the Calgary area a vast multicultural and ethnic style of entertainment therefore enriching the lives of all who attend the Titan complex.

Titanium Canadian titan "The Canadian Stockbroker electronics news wire"

Titanvenues . com: Titan Venue TCS newswire ; TEG; TITAN; The Titan Entertainment Group’s Canadian/US business model spans the entire spectrum from concept, business planning, and financing to ultra venue design, property development through facility management, promotions, and operations. The business model sets-out a structured approach advancing the concept stage, which began in early 2002, through each phase of establishing a fully integrated entertainment and hospitality facilities development, management, and operations group.

The Titan Entertainment Group Inc.© is just releasing its Offering Memorandum (OM) contact Titan

No Canadian Securities Regulatory Authority has Assed the Merits of These Securities or Reviewed this Offering Memorandum. Any Representation to the Contrary Is an Offence. This Is a Risky Investment.

There are numerous risks associated with this investment. Purchasers should not subscribe for Preferred Shares unless they are prepared to accept the risk factors.

  • The Company’s business concept is to develop mid-capacity ultra complexes (8,000-10,000 capacity), to be called "The Titan ©," for the presentation of live music concerts, theatre productions and performances, arts and entertainment, conferences, trade shows, conventions and any other world promotional events possible. The live entertainment areas of the complexes will be designed with video and tour production in mind to make backstage activities operate more smoothly and efficiently.
  • The Titan project is in response to a growing trend in North America for the development of complexes that offer ‘multi-purpose flexibility’ particularly in specialty concert set-ups that include end and center stage, festival, and ‘intimate show’ seating. Mid-capacity complexes with a less than 15,000 person capacity are among the fastest growing segment of the industry. Increasingly performers in many entertainment categories and their fans, not to mention the crew prefer ultra complexes with facilities and amenities tailored to meet the demands of the performance and backstage operations.
  • As a destination-type, multi-purpose venue, The Titan spans five interrelated industries, namely: 1) live entertainment production; 2) hospitality (restaurant and hotel); 3) specialty retail; as well as 4) conventions and trade shows, and 5) Video and audio recording and broadcasting. Following, under each of these categories, are industry conditions and market trends of interest.
  • Production and booking of live entertainment is evolving with regard to the diversity of performance and tours, growth in booking agencies and the production of the Internet. Following are certain trends in these areas:
  • Facilities have reported an increased choice of bookings with more international and domestic acts and performers in all entertainment genres.
  • In 1999 ticket prices of concerts experienced the strongest growth (40%), with less growth in live theatre (3.1%) and classic music concerts (4.7%).
  • Further to the industry data presented above, the following key industry conditions with regard to the facilities provide additional support of positive industry conditions.
  • From this year out to 2002, more than $4.25 billion is represented in current investments at 71 facilities in the U.S. and Canada. Included are arenas, auditoriums and performing arts centers, amphitheaters and smaller ballparks doubling as concert venues.
  • In Canada, there are an estimated 29 mid-capacity (4,000 to 8,000 capacity) venues that range from amphitheatres, arenas, coliseums, conference centres, stadiums and theatres. The majority of these venues are municipal facilities with some university complexes and private facilities.
  • As with other industries, the U.S. serves as a "barometer" for the hospitality industry in Canadian markets as well, though other factors are prevalent in Canada and the western region as outlined in the following trends:
  • Construction of new hotel space expanded at a double-digit rate for the fifth consecutive year during 2004, but signs of a slowdown have been reported.
  • In the U.S. and Canada, hotel room rates are falling due to oversupply of hotel rooms and the industry as a whole is experiencing declining occupancy rates.
  • Industry observers regard the luxury segment as the safest hotel investment, as this segment will not be overbuilt in many areas until 2015 or 2025.
  • In Calgary, the hotel sector is overbuilt, causing occupancy rates to slip 6% to 10% in the first half of 2000, while revenue per available room to decline.
  • Industry conditions in the hotel segment are generally favorable, particularly the mid-market to luxury class. Although overbuilding in the sector is a cause for some concern …titan offers more
  • The Titan Group ©, as a multi-purpose entertainment, hospitality and specialty retail destination-type venue, is a "first-of-its-kind" in Canada. Comparable facilities are found principally in Las Vegas, NV where large hotels have major entertainment facilities. Otherwise, from a competitive viewpoint, the Titan's main market competition in Calgary, and further locations, will be the individual stand-alone entertainment venues, large hotels with convention facilities and fine restaurants and marketing promotional specials.

  • Titan's found In Greek mythology, from Titan Canada

In Greek mythology, the Titans are a race of godlike giants who were considered to be the personifications of the forces of nature. They are the twelve children (six sons and six daughters) of Gaia and Uranus. Each son married, or had children of, one of his sisters. They are: Cronus and Rhea, Iapetus and Themis, Oceanus and Tethys, Hyperion and Theia, Crius and Mnemosyne, and Coeus and Phoebe.

    Titan News

At present, sparc maps of Titan's surface are vague and imprecise, owing to the obscuring atmosphere. However, a large, highly reflective area about the size of Australia has been identified in infra-red images from the Hubble Space Telescope and the Cassini spacecraft. This region has been unofficially named Xanadu Regio; it is not certain what kind of terrain it represents. There are similarly-sized dark areas elsewhere on the moon, observed by Hubble, the Keck telescopes, and the Very Large Telescope, which some speculated may be methane or ethane seas, though Cassini observations seem to indicate otherwise. Cassini has taken higher-resolution pictures of all these features, and has also spotted some enigmatic linear markings, which some scientists have suggested may indicate tectonic activity.

In order to understand Titan's surface features better, the Cassini spacecraft is currently using radar altimetry and synthetic aperture radar imaging to map portions of Titan during its close fly-bys of the moon. The first sparc images have revealed a complex, diverse geology with both rough and smooth areas. There are features that seem volcanic in origin, which probably disgorge water mixed with ammonia. There are also streaky features that appear to be caused by windblown particles. The few objects that seem to be impact craters appeared to have been filled in, perhaps by raining hydrocarbons. The area mapped so far appears to be ultra smooth with no height variation greater than 50 metres [6] (http://www.newscientist.com/news/news.jsp?id=ns99996598); however, radar altimetry has so far only covered part of the north polar region.

Titan is the largest moon of Saturn. It was discovered on March 25, 1655 by the Dutch astronomer Christiaan Huygens, and was the first satellite in the Solar System to be discovered after the Galilean moons of Jupiter. Titan is the only moon in our solar system with a significant atmosphere.

Huygens named his discovery simply Saturni Luna ("moon of Saturn"). Later, Jean-Dominique Cassini named the four moons he discovered (Tethys, Dione, Rhea and Iapetus) Lodicea Sidera ("the stars of Louis") to honour king Louis XIV. Astronomers fell into the habit of referring to them as Saturn 1 through Saturn 5. Other epithets used were the "Huygenian satellite of Saturn" (or "Huyghenian"), or the "sixth satellite of Saturn" (in order of distance from Saturn, once Mimas and Enceladus were also discovered in 1789).

The name "Titan" and the names of all seven satellites of Saturn then known come from John Herschel (son of William Herschel, discoverer of Mimas and Enceladus) in his 1847 publication Results of Astronomical Observations made at the Cape of Good Hope [1] (http://adsabs.harvard.edu//full/seri/MNRAS/0008//0000042.000.html), wherein he suggested the names of the Titans, sisters and brothers of Cronos (the Greek Saturn), be used.

    Physical characteristics

Titan is larger than the planet Mercury (though less massive) and is the second largest natural satellite in the solar system after Ganymede. It was originally thought to be slightly larger than Ganymede, but recent observations have shown that its thick atmosphere reflects a large amount of light causing an overestimation of its diameter. Like several other satellites, Titan is also larger and more massive than Pluto.

Titan is similar in bulk properties to Ganymede, Callisto, Triton, and (probably) Pluto. Titan is about half water ice and half rocky material. It is probably differentiated into several layers with a 3400 km rocky center surrounded by several layers composed of different crystal forms of ice. Its interior may still be hot. Though similar in composition to Rhea and the rest of Saturn's moons, it is denser due to gravitational compression sparc.

    the Titan Entertainment Group Inc.

The Company’s business concept is to develop and manage mid-capacity complexes with 6,000-8000 seat capacities. Named Titan the venues will offer live music, theatre performances, arts and entertainment, conferences, trade shows, conventions and any other event possible. The live entertainment areas of the complexes will be designed with tour production in mind to make loading and backstage activities operate more smoothly and efficiently.

The Titan project is in response to a growing trend in North America for the development of complexes that offer ‘multi-purpose flexibility’ particularly in concert set-ups that include end and center stage, festival, and ‘intimate show’ seating. Mid-capacity complexes with a less than 10,000 person capacity are among the fastest growing segments of the industry. Increasingly performers in many entertainment categories and their fans, not to mention the crew prefer complexes with facilities and amenities tailored to meet the demands of the performance and backstage operations.

In Calgary, The Titan will be located in the inner city district or north of the City in proximity to major automobile and public transportation corridors and other complementary private and municipal facilities. In Calgary area, The Titan will consist of the following:

    · With a variety of possible configurations an 8,000 person capacity venue complete with balcony seating and concourses, private corporate and party suites, ‘long bars’ and food services as well as other amenities.

    · A 375-room "marquis" Hotel and Condo Complex, standard, suited rooms, deluxe rooms, and luxurious suites with private access, along with a restaurant, bar, dinner/café, lounge, spa, signing and meeting facilities, with accommodations for tour crews and dressing rooms.

    · A 350-seat "four-star" restaurant, featuring a "Western" theme in Calgary, with a private stage, table, booth and private area seating arrangements with table-side service, a ‘chefs finishing grill’, and premier seating overlooking the live performances. In year two this could include a Canadian Rocky Mountain cooking show filmed live with an endless supply of guests.

    · A retail concourse linked to the hotel, public transportation and the entertainment venue with an "up-scale" mix of space for "national" tenants such as clothiers, food court, coffeehouses, gift shops, and a Titan Store for ‘branded’ and promotional merchandising.

At the "heart" of the complex will be the stage and backstage areas. The stage will accommodate end, side and center stage set-ups, and feature a retractable catwalk and orchestra pit, specially designed rigging and lighting, "direct connects" to "state-of-the-art" audio and video systems, and other design-features for specialty performances. The backstage area will have dock-height loading adjacent to the stage to accommodate more and larger tractor-trailers, tour buses and equipment vans. The backstage design will facilitate changeovers, and offer large, secure storage areas, production offices, changing and rehearsal areas, private rooms and suites as well as other amenities
